International Rough Set Society (IRSS) 2018 Election

This is an announcement of IRSS 2018 Election. The IRSS welcome nominations for the following positions of the 2018 Election:

 

Vice President (must be from Australasia)

Secretary

Steering Committee (SC) Chair

Advisory Committee (AB) Chair

 

Any IRSS Regular or Honorary Member can nominate a candidate for each position of IRSS Vice President, Secretary, SC Chair and AB Chair. The Responsibilities and Requirements of these positions could be found in the Bylaws of the International Rough Set Society, which is available at the IRSS homepage (http://www.roughsets.org/ ). The nomination form is attached. Please send your nominations to Davide Ciucci at ciucci@disco.unimib.it and Marcin Wolski at maarten.wolski@gmail.com before September 15, 2018.

 

To become a candidate, a nominee must accept nomination. Then, each candidate needs to prepare a Vision Statement, which will be available at IRSS Homepage.

September 30, 2018 Deadline for receiving vision statements

November: Voting
